Kingsley/Amelia
[info]squidtastic
2010-02-17 02:33 am UTC (link)
A.) Malinda Maya Shacklebolt
B) Gryffindor
C) After Amelia and Kingsley graduated, they both ended up pursuing quidditch careers after Amelia's unfortunate injury that rendered her arm unable to cooperate with dragons. Kingsley was no longer on the same team as Amelia, but they sometimes played against each other. Missing his beater partner, Kingsley asked Amelia out for drinks and the night when on from there. Amelia divulged after a few drinks that she'd waited a very long time to get his attention and now that she had it, she wasn't going to let it go without a fight. Their relationship managed to work out, despite a few injuries that upset both of them and almost offset some career choices. Kingsley was surprised when Amelia asked him to marry her and he turned her down. He already had a ring, he'd just been waiting for the right moment to pop the question. He did so and she said no, playfully, before he insisted that she do so through a series of kisses that landed them in the bedroom. They had their first pregnancy scare which led to a very swift wedding. They found out a few weeks later that it was a miscarry and they both were sad, but relieved. They had Malinda two years into their marriage when Amelia retired from the team to care for her and went into Ministry work instead.
D.) Katerina Graham

E.) She made the quidditch team her first year. Her parents' combined talent and expertise made for enough encouragement and determination that she went for a spot and earned it. She's a chaser, though she could've made an excellent beater.

She loves to do homework and keep up with her studies, but mischief with her friends takes precedence over everything else and she has had to owl home about getting in trouble more than can be counted on both hands.

While she is constantly impressed with her parents and their careers, she has decided that she'd like to be a teacher when she leaves Hogwarts--so she never actually has to.

Cassandra/Tanner
[info]squidtastic
2010-02-18 06:29 am UTC (link)
A) Jocelyn Corinne Higgs
B) Ravenclaw
C) Cassandra's love for Paulie Harper was cut short in her seventh year when her father spoke to Tanner Higg's father on behalf of his daughter. They, like many other purebloods, were paired together to preserve their namesake. Their wedding was elaborate, and Tanner was terribly kind to Cassandra, and still continues to be so. The conception of their daughter was one that took several months to do, mostly because Tanner didn't want to take advantage of Cassandra. Eventually, they got drunk enough one night and she took advantage of him. He lost his virginity and she got pregnant--though it's not something either one of them are proud of.
D) Dora Oszter

E) When Jocelyn was very young, she was bitten by her mother's dog who hadn't meant to do it, but had been provoked. Ever since, she's been terrified of anything with teeth, even the occasional nanny if they smile too widely.

Though cunning and cruel, Jocelyn fits in better with the Ravenclaw house because she maintains a vast variety of interests and topics that she can conjure to her mind at any moment. Her aptitude for learning is very, very impressive to her father, who spent her youngest years reading to her at every possible moment.

Brought up as a pureblood child, her first 'love' was a muggle child whose parents were wizards. She and the child, Bryan, were very close until her grandfather put an end to the nonsense by having them move to another home closer to his where he could keep an eye on them.

Chase/Gideon
[info]squidtastic
2010-02-18 06:50 am UTC (link)
A) Alexander Derrick Prewett and Shane Miranda Prewett
B) Gryffindor
C) An experiment went a little too far concerning Chase, and Gideon, who was swept along with the genius plan despite Dylan's pleading for him not to. Harper, in an attempt to really understand women, managed to magic himself a womb. Gideon, having decided that his friend was out of his mind, thought this was rather amusing until he met a lovely young woman at a club one night, used his beer muscles, and tapped that. The next morning he realized that the woman was actually another one of Chase's pranks. The scandal was covered over Rita Skeeter's 'Things to Blab About' in the Daily Prophet extensively until Dylan Harper offered to light her on fire. Somehow, Chase managed to conceive a child, or rather, two children. Fraternal twins. The parents stuck together out of obligation, but Gideon sees Dylan Harper on the side and Chase makes sure the twins don't do anything stupid.
D) Cory Monteith and Briana Evigan

E) Alexander and Shane do mostly everything together. They both have taken swimming lessons, flying lessons, and any kind of lesson to even out their energy expectations from the odd genetics between Chase and Gideon.

Though both of them are great at flying, their attention spans are limited which means that they get over things quickly and they can't focus completely on one thing for longer than an hour or two. Especially not when it's 'boring' as quidditch and its practices tend to be.

Even though their conception was an odd, odd thing, they still respect and adore their parents. They don't quite understand it considering it's not like two gay parents, but rather a very large mix-up. A prank. They do not, however, feel like accidents and they point this out often without being prompted

A. Holly Hadley Harper
B. Ravenclaw
C. Because Chase was always visiting Glenda over in Hufflepuff, Rose and the boy ended up being friends. Not too long after he was puttering around in his new shop (the Magical Menagerie), Rosemerta happened to visit him concerning her owl, Halloween Jack. His eye was starting to give him problems and Chase, ever the fixer, managed to give her the solution. Delighted at seeing each other, they ended up having dinner and talked until it was too late to bother apparating home. Rose ended up staying the night, which landed her in Chase's bed after he gave her a brilliant speech on how amazing she actually was and how much he truly liked her. She took the bait and they conceived Holly, much to their mutual horror and then contentment after he proposed she marry him. Because they were both running businesses, it meant that they had plenty of stories to tell each other at the end of the day. Their love freaks out Holly constantly.
D. Lucy Hale

E. 1) When Holly was a little girl, she tended to find the most random of things around the house and hide them under the couch. Things like socks, keys, the corkscrew for wine--anything that happened to look interesting, she grabbed and hid it. It wasn't until a year or two later that Rose and Chase realized she was hoarding things--it made for a very interesting conversation.

2) Despite her parents being both gentle and kind, Holly is rambunctious and ready to go. She dyed her hair with pink streaks when she was ten and then couldn't figure out how to get them out before her parents saw them. Chase didn't mind and neither did Rose, much to her dismay.

3) Being a Ravenclaw, she's sometimes full of snark. But rarely does it affect her relationships whether with friends or family. Most people take it in stride and snark right back.

Late is better than never!

Ohmygod she is adorable. I love that she thought that pink streaks would phase them. No, no they don't. Hair is hair, and it will grow back. Now lime green with pink streaks maybe, but that's only because it would hurt to look at it.

A. Reagan Deirdre Riley
B. Virgo.
C. Well, it was inevitable that Rachel would take her chance at happiness at some point. After spending a ragged week with a very sick Riley, who couldn't take care of the pack on his own, she finally broke down after several sleepless nights and told him that if something didn't change, she wasn't going to be able to stay much longer. She wanted to be happy, and comfortable, and to have children before she was too old to look like a proper mother. Riley, having been pretty oblivious to all of this, needed time to think. But after a fight that left Rachel with her suitcases packed and the keys to her bakery in the hands of some of the pack members, he chased her fifty miles, in the rain, to drag her back. After the admission of similar feelings, they started to see one another on a more personal basis. And a year later, Rachel was pregnant with her first of three.
D. Camilla Belle.

E. Four Facts:

1) Born to two werewolves as parents, it was genetically impossible to be anything but. Contrary to most beliefs, that a werewolf can't give birth in any other form but their human skin, Reaghan was whelped in the forest, away from prying eyes, after Rachel's rumbling stomach had prompted a run. She hadn't expected the birth to be so sudden and she shamefully carried the whelp back to the pack's house, where she settled her on the sheets of Riley's bed. She spent a full two weeks in wolf form, just to make sure that the change wouldn't hurt their new child. Surprisingly, Reaghan changed back peacefully in her sleep, never making a fuss. And she has never complained of any pain with the change in her entire life since.

2) While both of her parents refused to feed into the Disney addiction of most small girls, Reaghan managed to become princess obsessed anyway. And with pack constantly coming and going, she soon took to nicknaming everyone. Sometimes Riley was Prince Charming and sometimes he was the Beast. It just depended on her mood.

3) Her first hunt was when she was two, and a much better pup than toddler, when she accidentally stepped on a squirrel and suffocated it to death. She played with it for awhile before eating it, much to the chagrin of her parents.

4) She stuttered until she was nine, but only when very, very upset or nervous. Most of the time, she's a very confident young girl with high ambition.

If you're planning on getting online, TOO BAD, I'm going out for dinner. X.x

I will think about this, certainly, while I'm being 'entertained' by three small children and a hoard of family I usually don't associate with. :(

A. Macalla Lindsey Kerrigan. (Macalla meaning Echo in Irish. Lindsey for Cam's first name. And the last name being shared.)
B. Gemini.
C. Well, honestly, it was clearly a romp in one (or several) of the rooms of their enormous house. Since they're all themed, they have no idea which one she was actually conceived in. But it was sometime after Echo and Cameron got married (with a water fountain flowing with red bull and opposite gendered maid of honor and best man stand ins). Their wedding was beautiful, but fast paced, because Cameron's intense distrust of crowds made him worry that panthers were about to storm the festivities and drag Echo off to die somewhere. Once he got her alone in the house, the clothes came off in a sexy strip tease, both of them well on their way to intoxicated, and as Mr. and Mrs. Kerrigan, the gloves were off. Uhh, literally. No need for condoms. Though Cameron (and Echo) didn't want children so soon, the former wasn't about to push her down a staircase.

D. Kaya Scodelario (I know, irony, right?)

E. Four Facts:

1) Born early, like most panthers, she was hastily removed from the womb via kitchen knife and no anesthetic. Macalla was trouble from the moment she was born, something both parents expected, though neither anticipated her retrieval to be so brutal. Echo still has the scar, but she has few regrets considering the alternative of being ripped open by eager panther claws would have been much worse.

2) Ambitious, the dominant genes went to the young female in terms of race. But her playful air came from her mother. Never was a holiday boring. In fact, every Easter, she was part of the group that put out all the eggs for the other little boys and girls, something her parents delighted in. Christmas and Halloween were just as exciting. It was all about the attitude she wielded that impressed them and others.

3) While inheriting skills from both parents, she still is quite a worrisome person to be around. Echo is terrible in the kitchen, Cameron is nervous and antsy, and Macalla managed to be quite the opposite. Rather spectacular in the kitchen, it's her carefree attitude that sets her parents on high alert. If something burns, for whatever reason, she's much more relaxed than the others in her family.

4) She is the only panther in their family of five besides her father. With two younger brothers, Macalla is the only female besides her mother and acts with little restraint to prove her excellence in front of them. Though she finds them to be annoying and can easily push them around, she doesn't let anyone else and would very gladly injure anyone who thought otherwise.

They're not even mine, but as the almost-uncle, Cody wants to hear all about Riley & Sol's kids.

Annnnnnd.

Ha. Chase/Cody. I call that almost as hard as Riley/Corbin.
Uh, you already requested it on mine. But I request it back. Feiyi/Riley.
Alice and...Cody. Alice and Corbin.
Toby and Alice.

No, I take that back. Here's the hardest one: Toby/Quinn. Ten points for passive relationship of the century.
